"Secret friend," puts Fernando Ribeiro back in Russell Series

The Brazilian racing driver Fernando Dias Ribeiro was astonished by a phone call from the Formula Russell organizers communicating an unusual case: A friend, who asked to remain anonymous, signed with Russell Racing the sponsorship for the next 10 races, that practically confers to Fernando the opportunity of fight for the 2004 title.

It was an emotional time for Fernando and everyone that knew about the racer's battle for the last 7 years trying to complete a season, but always having to give up because of the lack of sponsors.

Jim Russell Racing denied to reveal the origin of the sponsor,stating that the anonymity was a demand by the sponsor, recommending only that Fernando do his best in the next 10 races.
